Nancy Hall has spent time on both sides of the camera. So, she knows well what demands are put on the performer as well as the photographer. She started her acting career and photographic careers almost simultaneously. It was 1980 and the Western was all the rage both on TV and on the big screen. Although Nancy is an excellent horseback rider her chances of being cast as a riden', ropen' cowgirl was slim to non-existent in those male dominated revenge plotted sagas. She did get cast as "The Pretty Little Thing" in a couple of shows and commercials with western themes however. She got the young wife and concerned nurse roles often enough to feel qualified to assist in surgery, almost! She became a member in good standing of both SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). As time marched on so did her careers (plural). Eventually she turned her attention mostly to her role as a photographer but if you look closely you might see her in a Target commercial and a Sheridan Hotel commercial. Playing a Photographer no less. She hasn't totally lost her need to play on the other side of the lens too.
